Perfect for a Friday afternoon that needs rockin '.

Admit that – as you predicted – I am not familiar with this group. Thank you!

Jesus, this set is so tight that you can set your watch on this one and the keyboardist has a voice made for rock n roll.

Excellent post

Ahhhhh … Fanny. I have not heard them for a long time. You must admit that when a group of that time was good and tight, it was a powerful thing.

Super article! Thank you!

Yes and she tears that Hammond apart – who is she and where did she go?

So this blue screen. What was going on behind them while they were playing on the airwaves? I'm guessing psychedelic video effects, like the lead vocalist who turns into an endless tunnel of overlapping main singers, and so on.

Of last link in this post:

Nickey Barclay no longer talks about Fanny. The interview requests fell in the ear of a deaf person. "After Fanny broke up, it seemed like Nickey could not bear to be herself," says Jean. "For a while, she played in England, then in Ireland, and called Annie Laurie. It was his personality. Then she moved to Australia. And according to what we know, she is not in good health. But Nickey had a lot of trouble with his identity, so who knows what happened in the context of his childhood in this dysfunctional family? Posted by water turtle at 12:28 February 22

I imagine that this clip is the studio stream and not the broadcast stream that would have resulted in all the effects. Yeah, probably a stroboscopic psychedelic light show and all the rest. That, or close-ups of the group at work.
