ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA – Alameda County Arts Commission Announces Creation of ARTSFUND 2019 Fund

Grants program for non-profit organizations based in Alameda County. Standard grants range from $ 1,000 to $ 2,500 each.

The ARTSFUND Grant Program supports all types of arts programs such as dance, literature, media arts, music, theater, visual arts and multidisciplinary arts presented in Alameda County by non-profit organizations. County of Alameda.

Last year's ARTSFUND program provided grants to 48 non-profit organizations in Alameda County.

During the 2019 funding cycle, between 35 and 45 arts organizations could be awarded grants ranging from $ 1,000 to $ 2,500. The Alameda County Arts Commission, a division of Alameda County, is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Alameda County by creating a thriving arts environment, promoting economic opportunities for artists and arts organizations in the county the arts.

Arts Commission staff will present three free workshops to help organizations prepare their grant applications. The workshops will take place on Wednesday January 16th from 3pm to 4:30 pm. at the Fremont Main Library in Fremont; Wednesday, January 23 from 33h to 16h30 at the Alameda County Lakeside Plaza building in Oakland; and Wednesday, February 6, from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Livermore Community Center in Livermore. Workshops are free, open to the public and reservations are not required.
